RollTape Terms of Service

Effective date: July 6, 2026 · Operated by: Tarina Inc. ("we", "us") · Contact: privacy@rolltape.ai

These terms are a contract between you and Tarina Inc., a Delaware corporation, governing your use of RollTape, a production studio for YouTube reaction creators. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

RollTape provides an AI "producer" that helps you plan, record, package, and publish reaction videos: it interviews you to build your channel brief, helps pick material, runs your recording session in the browser, edits a cut on your device, drafts titles/descriptions/chapters/tags, and — where enabled — uploads to your own YouTube channel and saves files to your own Google Drive at your instruction.

The producer is an AI. It is clearly disclosed as such in the product, and it can make mistakes. Its output — including anything it says about copyright, monetization, or platform policy — is informational assistance, not legal advice, and you should not rely on it as legal advice. For legal questions, consult a lawyer.

2. You, your account

You must be at least 18 years old and old enough to hold the Google and YouTube accounts you connect. You sign in with Google; you are responsible for activity under your account. During our testing phase, access is invite-only and at our discretion — signing in with a Google account we have not invited may be declined.

3. YouTube and Google

RollTape uses YouTube API Services. By using the features of RollTape that interact with YouTube, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke RollTape's access to your Google account at any time at Google security settings.

Uploads to YouTube and saves to Google Drive are performed from your browser to your own accounts, under permissions you grant. Your use of YouTube and Drive remains governed by Google's own terms, including YouTube's community guidelines and copyright policies.

4. Your content and your responsibility

You are the publisher; we are a tool. Everything you record is yours. Everything you publish is published by you, to your own channel, on your instruction, and you are solely responsible for it — including making sure you have the rights you need for any third-party material in your videos.

Specifically:

5. Acceptable use

Don't use RollTape to break the law, infringe others' rights, harass people, or upload content that violates YouTube's policies. Don't probe, overload, or interfere with the service, resell it, or attempt to extract other users' data. Don't use the producer for purposes unrelated to producing your channel. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Subscriptions and billing

The service is currently offered in a limited testing phase. When paid plans launch: the price and the fact that the subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel will be shown clearly and next to the payment button, and we will obtain your affirmative consent to those terms before charging you; payments will be processed by our payment processor (your card details go to them, not us); you can cancel any time from your account — as easily as you subscribed — effective at the end of the current billing period, with no cancellation fee; usage-capped free tiers may apply. We will give notice of price changes before they take effect.

Refund on our termination: if we terminate your paid subscription for our own convenience, or because we discontinue the service, we will refund the pro-rata unused portion of your current billing period.

7. Our intellectual property

The service — its software, design, and the producer's persona — is ours or our licensors'. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use it while these terms are in effect. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that any video will avoid copyright claims, demonetization, or removal on YouTube. Keep copies of work you care about — the durable copies of your recordings live in your own storage, not ours.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tarina Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, audiences, channel standing, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you have paid nothing). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where they don't, they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud; for death or personal injury; for our indemnification obligations; or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, legal necessity, or discontinuation of the service, with notice where practicable. Where we terminate a paid subscription for our own convenience or discontinuation, the pro-rata refund in Section 6 applies. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, 12, and 13 survive termination.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect and ask you to affirmatively accept the updated terms to keep using your account; if you don't accept, you can stop using the service and delete your data. For non-material changes, continuing to use the service after they take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your place of residence, or of any right to bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.

13. Indemnification

You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tarina Inc. and its officers, employees, agents, and service providers from and against any third-party claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: your content and your videos; your use of the service; or your violation of these terms or of any law or any third party's rights (including intellectual-property and publicity rights). This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.
